About Us

In September of 2015 God gave Pastor Johnny McKinney, Sr. a vision of Church House Ministries.  God called Pastor McKinney and Pastor Freda into a period of preparation as the vision was for a later date.  With the blessing of our home church, Union Tabernacle M. B. Church, the preparation began.  During this time of preparation, the launch date was selected as June 2018, the name was established under the State of Missouri, and other administrative work was completed.  The Mission and Vision Statements were also developed.  “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie:  though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come it will not tarry”. Habakkuk 2:3

February 2018 God led Pastors McKinney to the building located at 6070 Harney.  We entered into agreement and began preparing the building for occupancy.  We canvassed the neighborhood prior to occupying the building to begin our mission.  June 10, 2018, we held the first service for Church House Ministries.  On June 24, 2018 Pastors Johnny and Freda McKinney were installed as Pastors of Church House Ministries. 

During our first year we gained 25 members, baptized 11 new converts and held several community outreach activities.  Our community outreach activities included an outdoor concert, job fair, tent revival, clothing giveaway and provided Thanksgiving and Christmas Baskets.  We canvass the neighborhood on a regular basis to share the love of God with our community.  We also incorporated a monthly Family and Friends day to create a bond within the ministry and community.
